Access the WordPress admin panel

To access the admin panel of your WordPress-developed website, follow these steps.

To access your website’s admin panel (developed in WordPress), follow these steps:

  1. Type your domain name in your usual browser followed by /wp-admin/ and press Enter, for example www.mypaginaweb/wp-admin/.
You can also access the WordPress admin panel through /wp-login.php, for example www.mypaginaweb/wp-login.php.
  2. Enter your username or email, and your password to sign in to WordPress.
  3. In case of loss or forgetfulness, you can always recover your password by entering the email to which it is associated.
You can access via the link of your website by adding the following the end of the URL: /wp-login.php?action-lostpassword.

Annotations:

In the example you will see localhost/wordpress/, this is because the website is located on my computer, and can be viewed thanks to a virtual server. It is installed locally, and not accessible through the web, hence localhost.

Many current browsers allow you to store passwords so that you don’t have to enter them again, to be able to view your saved passwords access through the Settings menu of your browser to the passwords section. Use the search engine to be able to locate it quickly.

That’s all! If you followed the steps, you should have been able to get into the WordPress admin panel without any problem. Otherwise, do not hesitate to write me a message and I will help you access your website.
